Agentic engineering for cyber-range environments.

Generate, validate and provision training scenarios within a controlled pipeline.

Agentic cyber-range engineering — conceptual artwork in graphite, silver and burgundy.

The challenge

Security-training environments need to reflect a particular topology, threat scenario and learning objective. Creating the environment also requires testing that its components and intended exercise behave correctly.

Specialised agents work on scenario design, environment generation and validation using tools and sandboxed execution. An orchestration layer manages asynchronous work, repair attempts and provisioning. The platform connects scenario requests with generation status and administrative control, retaining validation as a distinct part of the workflow.

Explanatory cyber-range engineering diagram: scenario constraints guide agents and tools through environment generation, sandboxed execution and validation, with a repair-and-retry path before provisioning and a shared generation-status and administrative context.

Contribution and outputs

Primea developed agentic engineering workflows for creating and validating customised cybersecurity training environments.

  • Specialised agent workflows and tool integrations
  • Sandboxed environment validation
  • Retry and repair orchestration
  • Provisioning and administrative workflow
